From 1999 to 2012, Bill was a leader in the Dave Ramsey organization where he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Bill was responsible for leading the dynamic growth of the Broadcast, Marketing, Creative, Live Events, Publishing, and School Curriculum divisions. He helped grow the Dave Ramsey Show, which is the largest independently owned and operated talk show in the country, to a listenership of nearly 4.5 million on 500 affiliates — a feat most industry executives deemed impossible in the program’s early days.
Bill’s goal has always been to learn continually and lead in a hands-on manner, which he honed as Founder and Principal Consultant of Hampton Strategies. This role taps into Bill’s love for business and leadership experience to help driven executives clear their heads and tap into their true potential.
Known for being driven, approachable, and a tad out of the ordinary, Bill sees his greatest asset as his word and its dependability. Having built his life on relationships, Bill measures success by the authenticity of his work.
